About the center

The High-Performance Computing Excellence Research Center is one of the most significant large-scale projects supporting research and education in the Kingdom. The high-performance computer (Aziz) at King Abdulaziz University is considered one of the world's leading high-performance computers. It is the first of its kind in Saudi universities and also at the level of governmental and private sectors in the Kingdom. The university has implemented the center in collaboration with the Japanese company Fujitsu to be one of the world's prominent supercomputers.
